My Ten Things of Thankful It's a promising-future-week |
(1) Here’s my Velvet doing Child pose
With our early morning yoga
Look at her extend her paws
(2) The next pic is some soup
I made from leftovers
I put together bread
And some food from the last dinner
It’s quick and very filling
Delicious as my daughter said
Thank goodness for the internet
For the ideas and tips I read
(3) The view of the lake is pretty
Combined with the weather that’s sunny
Like a painting of an inviting picture
But as true as it can be
(4) Here’s Velvet again with me
My very willing companion
She goes with me everywhere
In any destination
(5) She sits down when I sit down
Overlooking the water
She relaxes when I rest
On this warm and very nice weather
(6) She walks along the garden
Sticking her nose up as she smells
The fragrance from the flowers
She enjoys it, I can tell
(7) Then there’s a picture of me
Modelling the earrings I misplaced
I was glad that I found them
They’re gift from mom I can’t replace
(8) Have you seen enough of Velvet?
I don’t think you have, so here
(9) And here’s the 4th picture of Velvet
Please forgive me, she’s my dear
(10) Not pictured but most important
My teens are safe and behaving
It’s a better week than last
Their future seems more promising

It's wonderful when something special is lost then found again. I had lost a ring Bryan had given me. It went missing for a couple of years, but showed up seemingly out of nowhere. Glad your earrings from your mom are back in your ears.
ReplyDeleteI told my mom, I found them. That made her happy.
Deleteexcellent photos of your dog (they are of course, perfect lifeforms
ReplyDelete(no laughing Christine! sure, one might say there is the difference... between the two expressions of mankind)
lol
Dogs are perfect, yes.
DeleteWhat a lovely way to do a Thankful post. I'm glad you found the earrings. Gifts from mom are very special.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ☺
I like almost anything my mom gives me. She loves jewelries, so she usually gives me and my teens jewelries. I cannot complain.
DeleteNice post Carin :)
ReplyDeleteToo much Velvet? No! She's adorable. I love the first picture - she does a perfect Child Pose :D Dogs are truly our best friends, aren't they?
Great idea for soup. I've never done the "throw in the pot what you have handy" lol. One day maybe I'll be adventurous.
Try being adventurous. You can't lose much but a potful of left overs.
DeleteNumber 10 is terrific! Hope is always good.
ReplyDeleteYes. This week is good too, for the most part.
